Most famous Designer & Factory outlets in Milan
Once they were called “Spacci” (Italian for Company’s store,) but for the “Milano da bere” people of the 1980s and 1990s, this definition must have seemed too excessive and maybe translated into other languages did not exactly express the concept. So this was how that starting from the Salvagente in Via Bronzetti – which was the first – immediately followed by Company stores of Milanese or international designer fashion brands as Etro, Midali, Fusco, and Levi’s, the made in USA designation Factory Outlet was preferred to the mere “Spaccio” term.
The substance has remained the same, however, they are shops and often actual stores also of great dimensions where companies focus on unsold stock of past collections. It is perfectly good clothing, or with small factory defects, whose only fault is that they are already “old”, but are just as nice, sometimes even nicer, than those displayed in the designer windows downtown. The fact is that in the fashion industry it sometimes only takes a couple of months to grow old!
Nothing wrong with that, because between the two extremes represented by the long Armani dress for mom and the stone-washed jeans for the student, there is a wide range of dream clothing for the Milanese who go to fashion Outlets to find the right designer garment, on sale!
This outlet in Milan in Via Bronzetti is the closest to the headquarters and the first to be opened, but also the one in Via Beato Angelico and the one in Melegnano, today offer a rich assortment of knitwear collections by designer Martino Midali. Not only sweaters, cardigans and pullovers, but also trousers, coats, skirts and anything else that can be produced in wool yarn in all possible colors and textures. They are all classic items leftover from the collections of previous years. Sale prices range from 30% on last year’s garments up to 70% on older collections, but still very elegant and beautiful. Each store has different times so we suggest to call before to be sure.

Perhaps this is the first clothing outlet opened in Milan, for sure it’s one of the most historic. It sells only apparels by important brands at prices reduced by a third compared to the original price and on sale periods even half of half. The clothes are divided by size and are often pieces back from film sets rather than samples or pieces from fashion shows, the sizes are therefore more suitable for those who have a lean physique. The only fault with this store is that there are honestly few offers for plus sizes. It is a very large space and is divided on two floors: on the first floor you will find big names including Armani, D&G, Moncler, Moschino, Hogan, Versace, Diane von Furstenberg and Aspesi. On the second floor you will find the minor brands, but still significant. A must if your size is 42/44.
